Red Dahlia reviews

January 6th, 2010

You can google Sherlock Holmes and get a lot of reviews (and pretty much all of them praise Kelly), but I thought I’d post links to these three Red Dahlia articles for you fans to read. :)

Guardian reports:
ITV1 triumphed in the 9pm drama battle last night, Monday 4 January, with Lynda La Plante’s Above Suspicion: the Red Dahlia pulling in 700,000 more viewers than the return of BBC1’s Hustle.

Unreality TV:
Kelly Reilly seems to be growing into the shoes that were brand new and a bit too big for her on her first outing. Her confidence in her role was clear to see and she seemed rather less stilted in last night’s episode.

Telegraph:
Indeed, the most notable feature of last night’s opener was just how strong Kelly Reilly has become as Travis. Previously there were occasions when she looked slightly uncomfortable in the role. But in the intervening year she’s got the combination just right – less glamour-girl, more hard-woman.
